Summary of Platform Barbara Bry’s priorities include:

  • Leading an economic recovery, which is why her private sector experience creating jobs is so important.

  • Protecting our neighborhoods against Sacramento politicians who want to eliminate single-family zoning and take away local control of land use, and enforcing the existing law against short-term rentals in our neighborhoods.

  • Addressing homelessness by focusing on the root causes which include mental health and substance abuse.

  • Restoring fiscal responsibility, making sure there are no more backroom deals like the disastrous lease-purchase of the 101 Ash Street building that her opponent promoted before she joined the Council.
