Duca Carlo Guarini Primitivo Virtual Wine Tasting
 
The Duca Carlo Guarini family first started their winery in 1114 and after 26 generations have continued to improve and innovate.  We will taste two of their Primitivo wines including one stainless steel version and a barrel aged one calle "Vigne Vecchie" (Old Vine).  
 
Learn what makes Primitivo different from Zinfandel and how an artisan family can craft a wine that best suits their sunny yet breezy Salento region of Puglia.
 
The only cost of attendance is the purchase of the 2 wines.  Ken from Bird Rock Wines has generously offered to bring the wines in just for this exclusive La Jolla Community Center Tasting.  
 
Wednesday, July 30, 4pm. $35 to participate. Make it a date night! Price includes 2 bottles of wine plus tax. You must pick up the wine at Bird Rock Wines. Presented by Stefano Poggi.
 
Reservations required by July 21 so that Ken can order in the wines.  Please note that the class will be cancelled if at least 12 households do not sign up.
