Sleep

Sleep and Aging: why can't Grandma sleep?
Many assume that older adults sleep less than younger people, but surveys indicate they average about seven hours of sleep. However, sleep disturbances are common among older adults due to medical or psychiatric issues, medications, or sleep disorders such as insomnia, circadian rhythm problems, and restless leg syndrome. Fortunately, effective treatments are available for these problems.

There is nothing new under the sun: Sleep and the Bible
Modern scientific discoveries about sleep often mirror knowledge found in ancient texts like the Bible. Sleep disorders referenced in the Bible can be interpreted through today’s scientific understanding, showing that much of what we consider "new" is actually an extension of concepts known in biblical times.
