Nancy Walters is Guest on Jazz 88.3 (KSDS-FM) Radio

Nancy Walters was interviewed recently by Jazz 88.3 "Inside Art" Host Dave Drexler and discussed the making and history of the Center's Fourth Friday Jazz Series. During the interview, she explained how flutist and pianist Lori Bell, who first performed at the Center in 2011, was instrumental in lining up the musicians for the series. LJCC President Glen Rasmussen also suggested a "consistent programming format--a series." The Fourth Friday Jazz Series launched in 2013 and has been going strong ever since.
