Our 7th Annual Health Fair, “A Lifetime of Healthy Living,” held on Friday, May 31st hosted 25 vendors representing conventional and natural medicine, elder care and placement specialists, dental and vision care, home care; and several new vendors including the La Jolla Sports Club, Care by Design (a CBD product company, nonprofits including Meals on Wheels and Friendly Visitors, and Susan G. Koman 3-Day (raising awareness for their upcoming walk for breast cancer).
“We were pleased with the response to this year’s event and the level of interest and participation in our planned sessions and demonstrations,” said Nancy Walters, the La Jolla Community Center executive director. “We believe our vendors represented all aspects of promoting active aging—which is a core aspect of our programs and classes.”
