Salsa Dance Workshop

​

Learn to salsa! Led by Rey Castillo, an experienced dancer/instructor, who will teach participants the fundamentals of footwork, partner connection, and basic moves. Receive insights into the history and cultural significance of salsa music, it's roots & evolution into a global phenomenon.

Beginner: Thursdays, April 4. 3-4pm.

Intermediate: Thursdays, April 4. 4-5pm.

$15/M, $20/NM per class.

Dancing Salsa

Zumba Gold & Tone with Ruth Karhu

 

This class focuses on Latin rhythms and very easy to follow moves. The benefits include toning, enhancing bone density, strength and flexibility, metabolism boost and improvement of cognitive function.

Zumba Gold: Tuesdays, 10-11am. Free/M, $10/NM.

Zumba Gold and Tone: Fridays, 9-9:50am. Free/M, $10/NM.

Age is no barrier to exercise. At any age, you can see improvement in your strength, balance, stamina, flexibility and more importantly the mental health benefits of exercise should never be underestimated.

Class taught by Andrea Ogden, a clinical kinesiologist with Reneu Health Inc that provides one on one activity-based exercise for those in need.
