Each session features a different guest speaker, offering unique insights, untold stories, and insider perspectives that reveal the Park beyond what visitors typically see.

Join historian Nancy Carol Carter for a back-in-time look at the early days that shaped the foundation of San Diego's crown jewel. Learn about the rich history, key figures, and crucial moments that shaped Balboa Park into what it is today.

Thursday, April 16: Balboa Park Today.
Jackie Higgins, Vice President of Planning at Forever Balboa Park, brings us into the present day, sharing what it really takes to operate, maintain, and care for the Park. From daily operations to community impact, this session offers an insider's look at how Balboa Park serves visitors right now.

Thursday, April 23: The Vision & What's Ahead. 
Looking forward, Katy McDonald - President and CEO of Forever Balboa Park, will reveal what's on the horizon. Explore upcoming plans, exciting possibilities and the long-term vision and action that will shape the Park for future generations.
